Sufood has chains all over Taiwan and it serves delicious lunch/ dinner sets. Once seated, the waiter asked if I prefer vegan or ovo-lacto (egg and dairy) for my meals. I chose the latter as I wanted to try their cheese pizza.
Appetizer for the day (from left) : Yuzu flavor jelly plum, a mini stalk of green veggies in sesame sauce and crunchy radish sticks with cranberry sauce. An interesting medley that came in different textures and flavors.
The rosemary breadsticks was surprisingly soft and not crunchy. The mustard sauce for dipping was awesome.
Starter: chose the summer salad and again its sauces were the highlight! The thousand island sauce was delicious as I crunched it with the cucumber, carrot, baby tomato, celery, pepper, and radish cubes and sticks. That leafy salad sticking out from the glass cup had a very flavorful sesame salad sauce too.
Craving for sizzling hot Chinese soup and was happy they served my favorite lotus root and burdock. Nom!
Very impressed by the presentation of this star pizza and an interesting Japanese inspired fusion of seaweed strips, cheese, tomato sauce, eggplant, and wasabi. I particularly loved the crust, which contained cream cheese. Sooo delish!
Another shot of my yummylicious pizza. There’s a jar of mulberry vinegar juice in the background. It’s tangy sweet and suppose to aid digestion.
Rounded my scrumptious lunch with a yuzu chamomile tea (it’s okay) and my favorite refreshing osmanthus flower jelly.
I would totally recommend Sufood for the delicious food, clean and spacious environment and friendly staff.
