A big fan of quesadilla and nachos, Burritoville was such a treat as it’s a vegetarian Mexican restaurant in Montreal! We headed for the counter to order our din din. Menu includes the classic and spicy burritos, quesadillas, tacos, and salad bowls.
Burritoville’s mission is pretty comprehensive, ethical, and eco-friendly: To nourish, through providing a space open to all who love food, music, and art. Burritoville also prides that its meals are homemade using organically grown ingredients and/ or locally produced foods. And minimizes waste through composting, recycling, and using biodegradable packaging and endeavour to promote other like-minded businesses and give back to the community and the world around us.
L’ epinard champignon – spinach and mushroom with basmatic brown rice, cheese and spices in whole wheat quesadillas. Not bad to chow down for the evening while sipping strawberry lemonade.
That’s my friend Wendy who took a 9-hour train ride from New York to Montreal for the day. So awesome to see her!
She ordered the black bean, sweet potato, and apple corn tacos, which looked tasty!
Laid back and casual with a bit of edgy art and a self-portrait of Mexican painter Frida Kahlo on the wall.
This is not part of Buritoville but we went down the street to a maple syrup store to get some yummy gelato for dessert!
