Berlin is said to be Europe’s most vegan friendly place but with less than 48 hours, gotta say I did a sloppy job of exploring all the meatless options this funky city has to offer. Ventured into Kreuzberg as it came up as a vegan-friendly district in the course of my research.
I like the idea of serendipity and while Zazza vegan bakery was not in my list of to-visit places, decided to pop and see what’s inside. Found all these!!!
Obviously spoilt with choices in this vegan and vegetarian (you probably notice that cheese bagel) cafe and would love to try a bit of everything if I could!
These Turkish rolls and baklavas were calling out to me!
In an earlier image, there were a number of Turkish Apple Strudels. Popped out for a stroll before returning to Zazza and saw it’s the last one left.
So out of a smorgasbord of veggie food, I chose this Apple Strudel dessert – blissfully covered in white icing, to go with a cup of coffee.
Zazza is a cozy and unassuming coffee shop, it’s easy to miss this place, but if you go in, you’ll not be disappointed by the variety of plant based dishes and friendly owner here. And yes they serve salads too.
