If you’re looking for a healthy burger fix, I know it sounds ironic, but head on to Light Radiant Food. It’s a cozy and neat little place in Sai Ying Pun, Hong Kong.
Yes, unlike most burgers, you can gorge Light’s signature burger and feel guilt-free. The black bean patty was thick and tasty with a relatively thick slice of melon and tomato. The bread seems freshly baked and had a layer of pesto. Serving was generous and with a soup in tow at HK$120, I thought it was reasonable as we should support local eateries then there’ll be more choices for vegivores in this city.
Not sure if every ingredient at Light is organic but there are organic options for sure. The menu is what you see on the board and it’s physically moved to every table when customers made their orders.
My friend Belle ordered this tofu fried rice which is cooked in wholesome brown rice served with fresh green salad. She said it was delicious. I would have to return and try other dishes next time.
Here’s how the entrance to Light looks. It’s located on Eastern Street, perched on the corner of a steep slope near Sheung Wan.
