Imagine biting into this giant portobello mushroom filled with creamy feta cheese, marinated red peppers and sun-dried tomatoes. I actually savored some at Enoteca on Elgin, Soho with colleagues one afternoon. Sooo delicious I could finish it all by myself. Please note this restaurant is not 100% vegetarian but offers a good selection of meatless tapas, perfect when hanging out with your carnivorous friends.

Chunky hot wedges tossed in rosemary herb and sea salt served with balsamic dip, I’ll give it 4 stars ****.

A generous serving of hummus dip served with lots of pita bread topped with olives. 4 **** too.

If you’re a fan of tomato, you’ll love this even though it’s a simple combination. This dish gets 3 stars ***.

While zucchini feta cakes sound interesting on the menu, I was disappointed it didn’t live up to the hype. It was too salty and overcooked. The only redeeming factor for this dish is the dill yoghurt. Rating: 1*

Almond Mud Cake

Enoteca serves good dessert. This almond mud cake is drizzled in rich chocolate sauce topped with strawberry and mascarpone. It deserves 4****.

Tiramisu

Tiramisu

Tiramisu was yummy and a reasonable portion. Not sure about the herb in the middle I’ll give it an extra * for presentation. Rating: 4.5*
