Alaska Laksa

I love laksa. According to the Wikipedia, laksa is a popular spicy noodle soup from Peranakan culture. However , it seems that some Thai restaurants also serve this dish. I went to Namh @ Elements for Rachael’s farewell and we ordered the vegetarian laksa. It contains fresh bean sprouts, corn and thick vermicelli and the curry gravy tastes delicious. Sometimes, my dad makes laksa at home too but I still prefer the laksa that my aunty from Singapore made that tastes better somehow. There must be some special ingredient inside that is lacking in Hong Kong. I have yet to figure out what it is. Maybe it’s the pandan leaves. I’m not sure. But laksa is good. There was one other restaurant in Langham Place that sells vegetarian laksa but it has since changed its menu and deleted all vegetarian dishes. I wonder why??? Any idea where to find good vegetarian laksa in Hong Kong? Please let me know…
